Pure Freedom, founded by Bob and Dannah Gresh, provides resources in the form of books and live events to equip men and women of all ages to live lives of purity. Dannah provides a special emphasis on equipping moms to raise their tween girls to be sexually pure, modest and emotionally whole teen girls. From there, the resources of Pure Freedom offer frank and transparent books and events for teen and college-aged students.
For Moms of Tweens and Tween Girls
Research indicates that the tween years are critical development years for sexual values. Since the world is pressing little girls to grow up too fast, Pure Freedom offers a specially focused website feature resources and events for moms and their tween girls. For Teen Guys
We believe that the temptation to fail sexually comes in different forms for girls and for boys. We also believe that they will one day enjoy God's gift of sex within the confines of marriage for different reasons. Whereas the girls are primarily emotionally driven, the guys are primarily driven by sight. Because of this dichotomy, it is vital that we educate them separately and emphasize different areas of temptation. For that reason, Bob Gresh has developed a book, Who Moved the Goalpost, with accompanying curriculum for middle school and early high school boys that can be used to stage a radical, high contact Bible study or retreat which includes sports-themed teaching. They'll enjoy object lessons of a different type, such as maul ball. Believe it or not, it's a great way to teach them the power of accountability. They'll explore subjects such as masturbation, pornography, mental virginity, responsibility to protect a girl's emotions and envisioning a godly wife.
For Teen Girls
Dannah Gresh is one of the best-selling teen authors writing today. College-aged women also find her books revealing, warm and relevant and she is a featured speaker on many college campuses in co-ed chapel services. Resources like her classic first book, And the Bride Wore White, and her most recent co-authored book with Nancy Leigh DeMoss, Lies Young Women Believe, come with associated curriculum at our bookstore. Dannah is currently developing a new 2.5 hour live stage event for teen girls to launch in 2010 along with a new book for older high school and college-aged girls entitled What Are You Waiting For? The One Thing No One Ever Tells You About Sex.
Pure Freedom events can be experienced by coming to a scheduled event, contracting Pure Freedom to have Bob, Dannah, and/or their team facilitate an event in your community, or by planning your own event using our leader's guides.
