Day #3: "Happy" In China

Our Holt Orientation was fantastic. They really do things right! Our surprise was a Chinese silk covered book of pictures of Autumn as well as updated information about her. (She likes pop music! Stephanie Smith here we come!)
Our tour guide for the day was named "Happy." She took us to the Forbidden City, to a tea house and to the 2008 Olympic Village.
While you all sleep tonight, we will be meeting our precious daughter.

It's 11:47 p.m. and we are wide awake!!! We keep looking at the clock and counting down the hours. We thought we'd stay up till 3 a.m. which is the time you'll be getting Autumn (our time) but then we thought better of it. We know the feeling of standing on the Great Wall with something GREATER on your mind. Been there. Felt that! We were here when you called but didn't hear the cell. Thanks for trying. We were really disappointed we missed the call. When we heard the message was what Chinese man could be calling us? Our second thought was, "How did Super Joe Kelly, man of a thousand voices, get our phone number?" We continue to pray for all of you (and that Bob will leave that pointy hat in China). Can't wait to see the WHOLE Gresh family soon. Love, T,D,G,K,D & L VL
