Soaking After The Five Little Questions Intensive!

Don't ask! OK...ask! It's Chizzy, Sharon, Melissa and Tonya playing "Sticky Buns" at the first Five Little Questions Intensive. It was more wonderful than I could have prayed for it to be. Just look at these happy ladies who attended our sequestered weekend at St. Joseph Institute.

I don't know about you (my friends from The Intensive), but for me the return to real life was jarring. We were so sequestered in the woods...not by the woods, but by the Holy Presence of the Lord. It was difficult to come back to the challenges of real life.
So, Monday, I did what Stephanie challenged us to do. I soaked! I took of with my ipod and my favorite labradoodle to enjoy the crisp fall day and just worship the Lord. Before I knew it, it was sprinkling, then drizzling, then misting, then raining. I thought for a moment that I should return to my home, but thought better of it. Wasn't I "soaking" afterall? So, "soak" I did. With each rain drop, I praised my Lord louder and more confidently.
I returned, bathed my smelly friend and continued praying the word of the Lord using Beth Moore's Praying God's Word. The soaking lasted all afternoon until Lexi came home and I soaked her a bit, too! I felt called to pray for the Lord to release a spiritual gift in her that I've been watching from a distance. I prayed over her with such love and intensity that I'm sure she may think I'm completely crazy. In fact, I am. Crazy for my Lord!

Have you soaked yet?

More photos tomorrow! Come back to see the suitcases that needed names and just how "whipped" Kim got at the 5LQ intensive!

Jen-
So appreciate your post! I am still in awe of all that God did this weekend. It wasn't a mountaintop experience, it was one of DEEP truth that moved each of us to the core of our being.
Continue to let God pamper you. Soak in His presence and be renewed day to day. That's what He desires for you...He just wants to BE with you my friend.
Love!
