Autumn Rolls Into Winter!

The first decent snow fall of our Pennsylvania winter hit us a few weeks ago. With it, came a big down fall of blessing in Autumn's life. That very morning, she chose to follow the Lord Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour. I'll save the details of that decision for her to share in her time and way, but suffice it to say that I am once again amazed at how transforming the Truth is. Autumn is very different. She is lighter in spirit, joyful, content and ...well, changed!
She spent the afternoon marveling in her first major snowfall complete with sled riding and building a snow man.

Hey, Dannah! I love your blog! I just wanted to remind people that Lies Young Women Believe is coming up real soon. I'm reading through it as a (deleted age) woman, and wish I'd read it when I was 16. Happy New Year to you and yours!
Thank you for adopting Autumn! I saw the video of her wearing the really pink shirt where they were sitting at a table and talking about how she was already adopted and her adoptive mother passed away. I cried for Autumn. I am of Chinese descent, live in California, and am a Christian and the video on youtube haunted me. I'm not quite 30 and haven't been married more than 2 years so I didn't qualify to adopt her. But I prayed and prayed that God would find her a family before she aged out. When I saw on the Holt video that Autumn had been adopted I was so relieved and thrilled. God bless you for adopting Autumn! I will continue to pray for your family! You are wonderful, special people! And I'm planning on adopting =)
Autumn looks so cute and loved with those earrings and the cross necklace and the white coat. She doesn't seem like she's so scared anymore as she was in the first videos and pictures.
May God continue to rain blessings upon your family! I think you Dannah are an inspirational and courageous Godly woman. I will keep praying for your family and Autumn!
