Five Little Weeks To Sanity: Are You Using Your Supernatural Abilities!

Today I moved a mountain! Da da dum! Not really, but kind of. You see, the Lord has called my husband and I to adopt our precious 13-year-old daughter from China, Autumn. (Yes, if you know us...that means we'll have a pair of 13-year-old girls!) In obeying the Lord with this opportunity, we felt that I could not travel for the fall to speak at our youth events. This was a huge opportunity to demonstrate our faith in God for finances. This morning, I realized He is coming through. A few weeks ago, a ministry we love very much contacted us "out of the blue" and asked if they could "underwrite" some of our work this year. They event told us what they had to invest. However, when they heard about one of our upcoming tours, they said they could find more! MORE! Just today I realized that this is God's way of moving us through the fall. It's so big and God-sized. It's just like him to show up in this way.
In January, I'll begin speaking and teaching again. (Although I'm doing one event for women at a spa in November. Come if you can!) Speaking and teaching are spiritual gifts that God has entrusted to me. I'm not quite sure why, but he seems to delight in choosing those who have stage-fright and no natural ability to speak, like Moses and me, to give this gift to. I can't wait to use it again.

I realize that a good percentage of you who read this will believe that you don't have one. Statistics tell on you! That's simply not true. You do!
